History of the Stud

Sir Nunn’s of Pinewood is a private family run stud farm which has solely been for a pleasure purpose.

Due to our continuing success with our breeding we are now opening our doors for the first time.

As a stud we work hard to provide the ultimate stud service and breeding environment. We focus on breeding and training top quality palominos. We pride ourselves in the quality of our stallions, broodmares and foals. We frequently visit abroad to source new bloodlines.

Pinewood is fast growing an outstanding reputation for the quality of our mares youngstock and exceptional stallions.

So far we have mainly be based in the Palomino world however to further our expertise we are now branching out in to the world of sports horses. We have refined our breeding down to what we consider to be the best. We are now breeders of Palominos in excess of l6hh for sole purpose of dessage, show jumping and eventing.

Our breedlines include some of the best in Europe which include Shulay, Colebridge and Donnerhall breeding.

Back when the stud was founded Mr Nunn was inspired by the sheer beauty of the palomino horse and had a dream to achieve the very best in breeding and schooling. This dream has now become a reality and the sky in now the limit for Sir Nunn’s of Pinewood Stud.
